Arab League: Iranian Attacks on Jordan and the UAE Are a Flagrant Violation

Al-Taj News – Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy condemned in the strongest terms the renewed Iranian attacks targeting Jordan and the UAE, stressing his outright rejection of these acts, which constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the two countries and a clear breach of the rules of international law and the United Nations Charter.

Fahmy stressed in a statement that compromising the security of any Arab country or targeting its territory under any pretext is categorically unacceptable.

He expressed the Arab League’s full solidarity with Jordan and the UAE and its support for all measures they take to protect their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, affirming that the security of Jordan and the UAE is an integral part of the Arab national security system.

He stressed the complete rejection of the pretexts put forward by Iran to justify its attacks on Arab countries and threaten their security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, calling on Iran to respect the sovereignty of Arab states.

He affirmed that preserving the security and stability of the region requires adherence to the principles of international law, prioritizing dialogue and responsibility, and avoiding any steps that could expand the escalation or endanger the security of the region and the interests of its peoples.
